What is Telepsychiatry/Telemedicine?
Telepsychiatry, also known as telemedicine, refers to the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by healthcare providers using telecommunications technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. This approach allows patients to receive care from the comfort of their own homes, eliminating the need to contend with traffic or potential exposure to COVID-19. An additional benefit is that physicians can provide services to patients residing anywhere in Texas.
What equipment do I need?
